Believing in Better

We are committed to being good stewards of our communities and the environment; in fact, Stewardship is how we refer to our social impact initiatives at Kohler. As stewards, we're passionate about helping the world solve its water and sanitation needs; about enhancing the quality of life for current and future generations. We believe a better world is possible.

BETTER PLANET

We are dedicated to leaving the planet a better place, which means reducing our global footprint, creating environmentally focused products and services, and engaging our associates in eco-friendly actions.

In order to reach this goal, we are taking part in several eco-design actions that will reduce the impact of our solutions, products and processes on the planet.

We also create actions that will raise the awareness of our associates to the environment (ex : Journée Verte) or to access to water (Run for Safe Water action created by KOHLER).

We also aim at reducing our impact through environmental approaches (KEMS, recycling, …).

BETTER COMMUNITIES

We believe that building strong, resilient communities is more important than ever. This is why it is really important for us to give back to those in need.

As a result, we’ve regularly been donating money, goods, but also specifically designed products to charities to help and support them.

We actively take part in the development of our territory through long-time relationship with authorities (municipality, city, department, region) and schools located near our company.

BETTER LIVES

At KOHLER Power Control & Distribution, we consider the health, wellbeing and human rights of our associates and everyone our business touches are very important.

That’s why we encourage and take part in social and convivial events that will contribute to well-being at work. We also take part in actions to help people suffering from cancer with Octobre Rose.

Measures have also been implemented to help the employment and insertion of workers with disabilities. For example, 6% of our subcontracting agreements are made with work integration programs.

We respect all individualities, without any discrimination based on origin, gender, family, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, politics, or trade union activities.

« Each one of us by ourselves can’t change the world; but if we work together we can make a meaningful contribution. »
