History
SOREEL finds its origins in an electrical installation company based in Cholet named S.A. Bossard, that developed in the 70’s a wiring workshop to meet the needs of its customers.
January 1st, 1980
Foundation of SOREEL, Company specialized in the implementation of electrical equipments. The company aims to study and create low tension electrical equipments.
July 1st, 1985
SOREEL integrates the Meunier group (Brest). Through this filiation, SOREEL began a progression that allowed it to be part of the first French manufacturers of independent electrical panels (not affiliated with an equipment manufacturer). This synergy has allowed it to develop innovative fields such as embedded industrial IT and to approach OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) with very specific requirements.
December 20th, 2005
SOREEL joins KOHLER group, which also includes the other companies in the Meunier Group's energy division, including SDMO Industries and BES (Béalas Energy Services).
July 1st, 2007
Opening of a production in Dagneux (01), near Lyon, to develop OEM business in eastern France.
April 27th, 2009
SOREEL brings together its two Cholet sites in one, as well as the activities of BES and SDMO of the region, in its new building of 12000m2, based in the Cormier business park in Cholet (49).
June 18th, 2009
SOREEL has officially launched its new building
